IPA are the first organisation in polo to use Dartfish as a standard evaluation tool for riding and ball striking skills.
Dartfish are the world leaders in video analysis and online TV platforms, working with over 20 of the 26 national governing bodies for Olympic Sports in the UK, with over 75 percent of gold medal winners at the recent Vancouver Winter Olympics using the software. The software is used by coaches to analyse technique in great detail as well as help teams analyse their performance with tagging and online sharing.
Dartfish’s UK country manager Benoit Ammann said “Dartfish can help both individual polo players and teams develop their game by providing them with the software solutions to view their performance in detail and the platform from which to share this content.”
“We are delighted to form a partnership with IPA who’s development we have followed over the last two years. We wish IPA all the best and hope to help polo players as they strive to improve their game,” Said Ammann.
IPA are using Dartfish to analyse a wide range of activities, from ball striking technique, to tacking up reviews, to team play.
IPA Students have private access to their own analysis which can be viewed on IPA’s online TV channel www.dartfish.tv/ipa and teams are able to view analysis of their game online.
