The ninth edition of the FIP Word Cup has ended with Argentina's victory for the fourth time - more occasions than any other team. The host team triumphed over Brazil in the final with a tight 12-11.
Ten teams competed from 10th to 21st October in the 14-goal tournament that took place at Estancia Grande in San Luis, Argentina.
James Mullan, Polo Times editor, commented on the host club: “I thought the Argies did well to get 300 horses for the tournament, given that the season has already begun in Pilar. The quality of the development at Estancia Grande certainly made it a fitting setting for the action, which felt more like 20-goal than 14.”
