German player Lukas Sdrenka is the latest player to enjoy the support of the scheme - sponsored by private bank at Julius Baer International Polo Academy Zurich 2011- which sees young players flown in to participate in IPA courses.
Sdrenka is seen as Germany's best young talent and his performance during the course at Polo Park Zurich did not disappoint IPA coaches as the rookie scored six goals in a competitive game dring the course and his overall technique and positive approach rubbed off well with both the coaching team and the local students.
IPA will continue to offer support the German after the course with fitness and nutrition advice, continued video analysis and technical advice throughout the year, continued mental conditioning and further coaching.
Sdrenka has already played in Germany's high goal season and will return to Argentina this winter to continue developing his game.
"Every day we worked step by step, so that we could work with the things we learned the day before. In the future I will always work to be a perfect polo player," said the German
"I will try to take part in a lot of IPA courses, to learn from different people. I will also try to train my horses the way I've learned from the IPA coaches in Zürich"
